Tweetle beetle bottle battle!" you cry as you round the corner with Daniel just behind you.

Aiming your wand at the beetles... nothing happens.

"What are you trying to do?" shouts Daniel.

"I don't know! I just thought that might work!"

"That's not even magic that's just gibberish!"

"But magic is just gibberish to me, my thesis was that if..."

But you never get the chance to tell Daniel what your thesis was. Three pops are followed by three blasts of superheated acid.

You try to duck out of the way but you are just a fraction too slow. One splurge of acid grazes your forehead and you fall to the ground, overcome.

Daniel hits the ground heavily beside you.

The last thing you see before you lose consciousness is the three giant bombardier beetles doing what appears to be a celebratory dance at the far end of the corridor.
