"It's working!" Daniel cries out.

But he has spoken too soon. The magic you have activated doesn't open the door instead it sets off a piercing alarm! An enchanted recording of Slumblebore's voice shouts out:

"Intruders! Intruders! Beware, intruders are trying to get into the dungeon! Stop them! Intruders! Intruders!"

Over and over again, the voice of Slumblebore cries out.

"It didn't work - let's get out of here: back to the tower!"

You and Daniel dash madly back to the Ravenwing House tower, skidding round corners and leaping up stairs three at a time, the voice shouting out behind you.

At last, covered in sweat, you make it back undetected. You both run dash up the spiral ramp inside the giant Ravenwing House tree trunk and dart into your rooms, slamming the doors closed behind you.
