Watertomes

Now you have your robes and your wand it will be nice to have some spells to cast, you decide and head towards Watertomes bookshop, your mum following behind you.
As you walk down the street you overhear all sorts of curious and wonderful snatches of conversation:
"...I put in the eye of newt and you'll never guess what happened..."
"....then my hat blew off into a swamp..."
"...his own fault he never should have summoned that demon..."
Watertomes is a small shop with an old wooden door and cramped dusty windows. You push the door open with a creak and enter hesitantly.
The inside is enormous: by some magic it is many times bigger than the outside. Brightly lit bookshelves stretch away from you to the left and right.
You see a boy with straight brown hair, about your age sitting on the floor, reading a book. He looks up at you as you walk in.
